In addition, 46.6% of the students disagreed and 13.7% of them strongly disagreed with this item (M = 2.30, SD=.76; SUM. of S. D. Agr. & S. D. Agr. = 60.3%). Moreover, there is a significant difference between the number of students who disagreed and the ones who strongly agreed, agreed and strongly disagreed with this item, c2 (3, N = 73) = 33.35, p .05.
In item 12, 5.5% of the students strongly agreed and 31.5% of them agreed that the exercises for vocabulary are rich and adequate. In addition, 46.6% of the students disagreed and 16.4% of them strongly disagreed with this item (M = 2.26, SD=.80; SUM. of S. D. Agr. & S. D. Agr= 63%). As displayed in table 4.24, in item 11, 15.7% of the students strongly agreed and 39.3% of them agreed that new lexical items appear in the following units. In addition, 38.3% of the students disagreed and 6.7 % of them strongly disagreed with this item (M = 2.64, SD=.82; SUM. of S. Agr. & Agr. = 55%). Moreover, there is a significant difference between the number of students who agreed and the ones who strongly agreed, disagreed, and strongly disagreed with this item, c2 (3, N = 93) = 28.43, p .05.
Item 12 considers whether the exercises for vocabulary are rich and adequate or not. Data analysis indicates that 16.1% of the students strongly agreed and 43% of them agreed that the exercises for vocabulary are rich and adequate. In addition, 34.4% of the students disagreed and 6.5 % of them strongly disagreed with this item (M = 2.68, SD=.82; SUM. of S. Agr. & Agr. = 59.1%).
